The property was in a quiet location and felt very private. The hot tub and outside was lovely and would imagine very pleasant in the warmer weather when sitting outside. Close to lively walking experiences and close enough to Pitlochry to access shops, cafes and restaurants.

Firstly I’d like to say that this is only my own opinion. On arrival the accommodation seemed lovely until we entered this first of 2 buildings. The first of which is where the kitchen/bathroom was located. It had a strong smell of wet dog and was compact. On checking for another door I realised that the building on the other side of the courtyard was where the living facilities were. This again compact in size and smelling of wet dog was comfortable enough. I’d like to say that although for some people this may have been ok I was very disappointed that the accommodation description was not clearer in relation to the outside walk to use a toilet or shower. If I had known this I would never have booked in the first instance. A 3am trip to the toilet in the pitch darkness and pouring rain is no fun. Both myself and my husband enjoy walking and dint mind the outdoors or wet weather but the facilities for us meant we did not do much walking as the facilities defiantly would not have been suitable for drying clothes as firstly there was no room to spread them out and secondly the heat in the kitchen area would not have dried them, as out wet things from the first night in the hot tub were still wet when we left. Please also be aware that the wood provided is sufficient for an overnight but not for 2 nights and we had to purchase this from the local shop, which for the price we paid I felt was not ideal. I did send the host a message and from this point they did answer promptly.
