The rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable, especially for taller guests. The property has been beautifully renovated using high-quality materials, with a tasteful and well-thought-out interior design. There are also plenty of activities available, which is a great advantage. Some activities need to be arranged with the host in advance and may come at an additional cost. The surrounding nature is beautiful and adds a lot to the overall experience.

Finding the property and getting in touch with the host upon arrival was somewhat challenging. The phone number provided did not respond, and clearer signs on the main road, as well as at the fork in the forest, would make the property much easier to find. Communication could also be improved, as communication in Latvian was not possible. This made it more difficult for some members of our group to communicate with the hosts. The bathroom arrangement was another minor inconvenience, as guests staying in the rooms need to go downstairs to use a shared bathroom. This was not ideal for some of us. Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, and high-quality renovation. With some improvements to signage, arrival instructions, and communication, the experience could be even better.

We had an incredible stay — such a quiet and lovely place. The host is extremely kind, and we’ll definitely be returning. It’s beautiful and very secluded, so you’re guaranteed a great night’s sleep. We were attending a wedding just across the lake, and the whole stay was fantastic: peaceful, close to nature, and completely unique. Honestly one of a kind — we’ve never seen anywhere quite like it. Can’t wait to come back.
