portable airconditioning needs to be vented to the outside correctly. Flexible vent is useless just being put out window. Huge loss of efficiency and additional running costs.

Could the air-con system be improved? The apartment does get the sun for most of the day and can be very hot in the evening.

I think the host is trying to be helpful but some information is lost in translation. The facility is well kept and has a nice kitchen area. Seems to be safe with the key access.

Some information seems to be lost in translation. First, it's a studio, not a one bedroom place. So, the sofa bed is the only bed. There is an air conditioning unit but it has to be vented out an open window and the moisture into the shower so you can't close the shower door if the air conditioner is in use. The toilet is a separate room which can be convenient, but also you have to go to the other bathroom or kitchen to wash your hands. Lastly, the address given isn't actually the address of the property so it was a little tricky at check in.
