Michele Lux Lodge - 6 People - Spotless - 3 stops from Vatican, 4 stops from Colosseum

From the moment we booked, the owner, Alex, was absolutely wonderful. He provided a detailed digital welcome pack and even sent a short video showing us exactly how to locate the apartment, which was incredibly helpful and made our arrival completely stress-free. The apartment itself was spotless, exceptionally well maintained, and had everything we could possibly need. The amenities were fantastic, including a washing machine, iron, hair dryer, dishwasher, reliable Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of cutlery and utensils—right down to the all-important bottle opener! The neighbourhood is clean, welcoming, and feels very safe. Supermarkets, pharmacies, and bakeries are all just a stone’s throw away, making it incredibly convenient. The nearby train station offers excellent links to both the airport and the main station, while bus stops are only a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city and beyond. This was our final stop on a tour of Italy that included Florence, Naples, and Rome, and without a doubt, this apartment was the best place we stayed. Everything about it exceeded our expectations, from the location and facilities to Alex’s outstanding hospitality. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, and it will definitely be our first choice when we return. Highly recommended!

Świetny apartament na dwóch par, jedna sypialnia z łazienką, druga sypialnia z oddzielnym wejściem do drugiej łazienki. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, miejsce ciche. Można komfortowo odpocząć i wyspać się po całodziennym zwiedzaniu Rzymu. Apartament zlokalizowany trochę dalej od atrakcji Rzymu, ale bardzo dobrze skomunikowany, do najbliższego przystanku 2 min pieszo. Atrakcyjna cena wynajmu rekompensuje czas dojazdu do centrum Rzymu. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem.

We stayed for 4 weeks and couldn’t have picked a better apartment for a stay in Rome! Alex is so helpful and we had brilliant communication before and during our stay. We loved the area of Magliana where the apartment is situated - the people are so friendly and kind, you are surrounded by fantastic fresh vegetables, fruit, pastries, markets and delicatessens. Everything you could need for a long stay at very cheap prices! We found the local area much cheaper for most things and the food is superb! We started to feel like locals during our time there and so enjoyed a beer and ice cream outside Mazzaroni or a meal at La Tana - some of the best pasta dishes we ate in Rome! Getting into the centre of Rome is super easy and cheap. The 781 bus costs €1.5 and gets you right into the heart of the city. The trains from Villa Bonelli are also so cheap - from €1 and you can travel all over Italy - we had trips to Ostea Antica, Tivoli and Spoleto, so easy and cheap. If you like walking it is also easy to walk to Portuense or across the bridge to the area of Basilica San Paolo and Centrale Montemartini museum which are both worth a visit! As for the apartment itself, it was perfect! So comfortable, everything is spotless and high quality. Great kitchen which was very well equipped - wonderful for someone who loves cooking! All in all, can’t imagine a better location or apartment for a stay in Rome, we felt so at home and will miss it!!
