Cardiff Gem with Spa and Free Parking

Cardiff Gem was in a fantastic and easy to find part of town. Quick and easy access to the city center. Unit was comfortable and perfect for 1 or 2 people. Having access to a spa (Jacuzzi and sauna) made the stay that much more relaxing. There were a few worrisome hiccups of the day of check in but they accommodated me by allowing me to use the spa later and have a late checkout at no additional cost.

Unit was not as sound proof as I would have liked. No A/C. Spa is not mentioned as being a "shared space" (book private slots but others use it too) with limited hours. Horrible communication on the day of arrival. Obvious that the multiple workers don't talk with one another and read the past messages. -My reservation was for the 18th-19th and everything was fine until the day of arrival where they were confirming that the reservation was for the 19th-20th. Didn't know if I was going to have a place to stay or not, they refused to answer any messages and phone calls didn't go through. Had to contact Booking.com customer service to get ahold of them. -Wanted to book the spa for the night at 1am but was then told as I was on my way that the spa was only available from *7am-11pm (can't remember exact hours). Mind you I had a late check in at 8pm and the spa was the main selling point for this booking. Now I had to cancel my evening plans so that I could get my money's worth and enjoy the spa.
