Earls Court Hub - Central 2BR Gem near Transport & Attractions

Great location, affordably priced, well equipped top floor (5th floor) apartment (with lift). Close to both Earls Court & Gloucester Road tube stations. The apartment was clean and tidy and a great size for the 4 of us that were staying. Lovely sash windows, which were great to have open during what was a very hot spell of weather. The host had also provided fans and an air cooling unit to try to make the temperature more bearable - not that it worked, but this was just the reality of the heatwave unfortunately. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and 100% would stay here again. The communication from the host was excellent throughout.

The initial impressions on entering the building were quite off putting with the front door and entrance hall looking very tired. There was also a bed base on the top floor landing, leaning up against the wall as you exit the lift. However, once inside the apartment, any concerns about the standards or the facilities were alleviated. Also, be careful with the bathroom sink tap, as if you turn it on full, the water will hit the front inside face of the basin and spill out over the vanity unit, soaking you and the floor. Minor issue but once bitten, twice shy as the saying goes. We quickly learned the right angle to turn the tap on in order to prevent this from happening.

Die Lage war super. Die Bushaltestelle war direkt vor der Tür, zur U-Bahn war es nicht weit. Die Wohnung erstreckte sich über die gesamte oberste Etage des Hauses. Alles, was man brauchte, war vorhanden: Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Spülmittel, Waschmittel, Geschirrspülmittel, kleine Flasche Duschgel, Seife. Aufzug ist vorhanden. Die Schlüsselübergabe war problemlos über eine Schlüsselbox. Der Vermieter hat sich während der 3 Nächte unseres Aufenthaltes 2x gemeldet, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Die Wohnung war sauber. Der beiden Schlafzimmer gehen nach vorne raus zur Hauptstraße. Der Lärm ist deutlich zu hören; mit Ohrenstöpsel war das aber kein Problem. Wir konnten gut schlafen.

Die Fenster. Entweder haben wir die englischen Fenster nicht verstanden oder sie gingen wirklich nicht zu verriegeln (das haben wir dem Vermieter dann am letzten Tag mitgeteilt). Es zog dadurch etwas rein. Aber mit den Innenrollos war auch das gut zu verkraften. Es gibt einen Wasserfleck an der Decke (nicht neu, nicht naß), aber es ist kein Schimmel sichtbar gewesen.
