The flat was clean and comfortable and has a lovely view of the Laguna, and Francesco was a wonderful host. He came and met my colleague and me two separate times at the ferry stop to bring us by car to the apartment, handed us each our own keys and explained everything to us. Throughout our stay he checked in on us to ensure everything was always ok, and brought us extra amenities that we requested. I would certainly recommend Francesco as a host!
The only thing that was not so convenient for us as we were working was the location of the apartment. It is located farther from the city of Venice than it seems, and we always had to travel by two ferries through the Lido each morning and evening. However, if you are not working on a time schedule in Venice, these are nice, leisurely boat trips. And the apartment is in a beautiful and quiet place outside of the city, so if you are going for a holiday and not for work, it is a perfect location.
