    Cheryl and her sidekicks – Mamsy, Papsy, Flor and Ruel – were absolutely lovely. They were wonderfully helpful and friendly, yet never intrusive, always appearing just when you needed something. The accommodation was excellent: a comfortable bed, air conditioning, a hot shower, and a well-sized bedroom with plenty of space for luggage, along with a wardrobe for storage. There was even a safe provided. The kitchen suited our needs perfectly. We cooked every evening after buying fresh supplies on the island. The bottom of the garden was a delightful surprise – we were able to swim with turtles and snorkel among fish all around us. A beach perfect for sunsets was just eight minutes away by scooter, which Cheryl can provide for a small additional daily fee. The island itself is very different from the usual tourist areas, but that’s precisely what makes it worthwhile if you’re looking for something a bit different. Ferries depart from Danao and Liloan in Cebu, both taking approximately two and a half hours. We would highly recommend giving Cheryl’s place a try – it offers great value and is definitely worth it.

The accommodation was perfect , a comfy bed , air conditioning , a hot shower and a nice size bedroom , enough for bags with an added wardrobe for storage , there was even a safe . The kitchen was perfect for what we needed , we cooked every night , after buying supplies on the island . The bottom of the garden was a wonderful surprise , we swam with turtles and snorkelled with fish all around us . A beach for sunsets was 8 mins away, on the scooters Cheryl can supply at a small additional daily cost . The island is so far different to the tourist areas you are used to , but it’s worth it to do something different . The ferries depart from Denao and Liloan on Cebu and both take approximately 2hrs 30mins . Please give Cheryl’s place a try it’s good value and definitely worth it .

    I stayed at this property for 2 nights and 3 days & I had an excellent experience. The location is 10/10, and a flight of stairs takes you from the resort into the beautiful sea where the water is so clear that you can see the bottom of water. There is no restaurant in the property, but there is a furnished kitchen included where you can cook yousrelf. The staff (Cheryl, Ruel- who would pluck fresh coconuts whenever I wanted coconut water and all others are extremely supportive and ensure that you have a perfect vacation. I stayed in a premium room which is quite large, has a big bathroom and has an AC, fridge, desk, wifi, TV and all amenities that you would expect. I generally do not write reviews but with the exceptional experience I had i am not leaving this place without a review and would give this 10/10.

    Had a very good experience while staying in the place. Was not able to take pictures and videos of the room and other facilities but room was big enough to accommodate 2 persons and most importantly the cr was clean. They also have shared kitchen for everyone that’s staying in their place to use and they offer free mineral water. I will surely choose to stay here if I’ll be in Camotes again.
