Fantastic location on the beach, the keyless check-in was easy, and the staff was communicative and swift in responsiveness. While it's not the newest of buildings, we didn't have any noise issues, it was very clean and there were plenty of towels and linens.
There was a remote on the coffee table that I thought operated the fireplace, but no matter what I did, I couldn't get the fireplace to turn on. I looked all over the front of the fireplace but couldn't find a manual switch, but it turned out I wasn't looking hard enough and the switch was around the corner. Turned out the remote was for a heater that was in the bedroom closet. Obviously operator error, but maybe if there was a note on the sheet with the TV channel guide it would have saved me some struggle and feeling dumb.
