Right on the water.
Parking was tough but it worked.
Biggest frustration was no pool for the kids! AND once it opened they didn’t even let us know.

The view from the rooms is fabulous. Wide open ocean and great sunsets right from the bed, AND a fireplace nearby too! Beach access is *right there*. Love the keyless check-in/out. I like that it's right between the two busy ends of Lincoln City - so an easy 3 minute drive to either. I personally love Lincoln city. Very little in the way of "hoit and toit" - a down-to-earth, working class beach town. And the D Sands is a gem in the middle of it.
Their in-room guide would benefit from an update. The cable channel guide is way out of date. What restaurants deliver (esp. pizza!)? How about a map of the facility that shows where the pool and ice machine(s) are located? Or how about a map of the town with a business listing? Also, please fix the hot tub jets! Nice that you have a hot tub, but no jets? And not even a warning? Bummer to show up and find them not working.

The room was great. Sheets and towels were fabulous and plentiful. The view was AWESOME and we loved the cozy room. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.
There was no elevator making it very difficult to get up and down. The door code we were given never worked so we had to call for emergency door code. No one told us to put the check mark button after the code so it was a huge struggle to get in. We finally asked another guest who told us how to use the door pad. Need better instructions on check in information. Being handicapped, we would not have booked this room with out elevator had we known. Room edges were a bit dusty and need attention.
