The view was absolutely stunning as was the location
Check was a rigorous affair with all personal details, selfies, and photos of passports. The hosts insisted this was the law and essential. We travelled for 3 months in Italy last year and stayed at over 20 places and have NEVER had to do this. This trip 4 places and only these hosts have asked for all of this, even through booking.com who we have been with for years. There was no basics that most hosts leave coffee (1 coffee pod!) no dishwasher tablets etc.
