Amazing stay on Elephantine Island – modern, clean, and incredible hospitality We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Elephantine Island in Aswan. The room was exceptionally spacious, with strong and efficient air conditioning – a real blessing in the heat. The entire property has a very modern, sleek design, and everything was spotlessly clean. A special shout-out to the manager, Maroo, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He was incredibly attentive and even took the time to film a video of us rowing on the Nile – such a thoughtful touch! We also really enjoyed chatting with him about Nubian culture and history; we learned so much and truly appreciated the chance to connect with local traditions. The room was kept immaculate throughout our stay, and the view from the balcony overlooking the Nile was absolutely stunning – easily one of the best sunsets we've ever seen. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, style, and genuine hospitality in Aswan.

Un petit paradis avec une magnifique vue et un personnel aux petits soins Merci pour votre accueil, votre gentillesse et votre aide tout au long du séjour. Nous sommes restés seulement deux jours à regret, et avons été très bien reçus, l’emplacement de la villa est idéal pour profiter du calme face a l’île Kitchener. Le petit dej est très bon et très copieux Merci encore à toute l’équipe de la villa swenet, nous espérons pouvoir revenir un jour :)

It was a brand new property when we stayed. The facilities were good. The host is very friendly and he offered us a free ferry pickup and drop from the main city port as promised during the booking. Despite some ongoing furnishing on the upper floors, our stay was peaceful and undisturbed. The bathroom drain was clogged but the staff eventually addressed the issue.

The location of the room was weird. We could not open our window because the room was in the ground floor, facing the entrance and the room would be visible to passers by if the window is opened. We booked with sea view but instead got no view. There is a clear lack of transparency. The room is very wastefully furnished. Big bulky furniture for a small room, more inconvenient than functional. The hotel is located on the opposite side of the island facing the city so it's a 10 minute walk to the ferry point but it's not a big deal.
