Anakato Nubian Experience

The number one thing was the kindness and generosity of the staff from manager to the helping guys. Everyone was so so so professional and just perfect hospitality. The location of the hotel on river nile is best. Had breakfast both mornings in quiet river and sun facing view. The rooms are pretty. The colors add life to the stay Food also so good. And their service ia top notch. Ordered me dinner when I arrived at 11 pm. Dr. Menna made sure I reached safe from airport to the hotel being a single woman. Arranged a day outing personally upon request. When I casually mentioned I am planning to view sunrise from the panoramic view. The manager Dr. Menna made sure the staff assist me with that and I am grateful coz It wasn't easy to climb the dunes at 5:30 am but was totally worth it. Free kayaking at the river front with the hotel. And not just that they took all their time to take a photo and video of me with aerial view and beautiful colors of the hotel. Last thing. It ia super close to nubia souk. Can just walk any time to the market worry free.

Nothing to not like.

It was so beautiful. The attention to detail and artistry was such a joy to experience. The view and the atmosphere was magical. It was our favorite stay in Egypt by far!

Perfect location for our stay

The location right along the Nile at the end of the road was mostly quiet, although there was a loud wedding party with lots of drumming and shouting our first night. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great.

The rooms were colorful and clean but smaller than they were depicted online, and the towels were tiny. Our first morning, we came out to the dining area at 7:30 to have breakfast but didn’t find any staff around. We called the hotel’s cell phone number and woke the fellow who answered. He appeared a while later and began cooking but it became apparent that this would take a while and we wanted to get going, so at 8:20 we told him never mind. The second morning, breakfast went better although the fellow only arrived at 7:30 to start cooking instead of having it ready at the requested time. Also, there was no room service (making the bed, refilling the coffee and tea supplies) between our first and second nights. Lastly, other reviews had warned about this property being overpriced but at checkout we were shocked at the price they charged for small bottles of water - 25 pounds each, which is a 10-fold markup!
