Lucy's Patch - Lake Tekapo

Beneath a night sky scattered with stars and constellations, a memory was etched one that lingers long after the moment has passed. The fireplace flickered gently, wrapping the air in warmth, while the kitchen came alive with rich aromas, inviting every sense to indulge. The night stretched on in quiet serenity, as if time itself had chosen to slow down. And when dawn arrived, snow fell softly, carried by the whispering winds from distant, snow-capped mountains, blanketing the morning in a hush of pure beauty. A simple moment, yet perfectly whole, one of those rare, beautiful memories that stay with you forever.

A lovely little place with amazing views over Lake Tekapo. The fittings are basic but everything you need for a short stay. It was cold but there were portable heaters in each room and the electric blankets on the beds were amazing! Beds comfortable. Place was very clean. Good communication from the agents.

Couldn’t get the TV to work so had to watch the only DVD which was Yogi Bear! Difficult to locate the property in the dark.

The house itself is cute and big enough. Nice view from window.

Smell of coal. Shower was a bit broken and worked as fountain. When paid by card in the office, extra $20 charged. Oven didn't work so binned pizza which was bought for dinner.
