Ideal location, on a quaint peaceful street, with a handful of good restaurants literally on the doorstep. Inquisitors palace, war museum also round the corner. Really quick and easy to pop over the harbour to Valletta by ferry or water taxi. The other 2 ancient cities easily reached too on foot. The apartment was really spacious and decorated to a high standard with all the facilities you could possibly need. Roof terrace was great to relax, most of the day there were parts in sun and parts in shade so you could choose which to sit in.

It would have been nice to have a couple of sun beds on the roof terrace in addition to the chairs and table. There is enough space for them.

The property is very close to the main square in a quiet street .The downstairs bedroom was cool and comfortable. The option of a showers and toilet both downstairs and on the kitchen 1st floor level. The washing machine and drying rack , in a utility room on the roof level, was much appreciated after a week of travelling . There are fairly steep stairs to each floor to keep one fit. The owners are contactable and helpful if needed.

It had most things that one would need for self catering. An alternative to the coffee pod machine would be a useful addition .

Lovely traditional Maltese house, modernised inside. Very clean and comfortable. Good communication with the hosts. Great value for money. Birgu is a pretty and historical city, mostly built by the Knights of St John. A quieter location compared to Valletta or Sliema. There are plenty of places to dine or just enjoy a coffee or local beer, cisk. The ferry to Valletta is nearby or the buses run frequently from the stop by Cafe Riche.
