Grand Harbour View

In summary, a spaceous apartment, in a quiet area with absolutely fantastic virw of the harbour from the apartment window. The apartment location is in a quiet area of Birgu. It is easy to walk around Birgu and to get the ferry across the harbour. There are some great little restuarants in walking distance. Whilst parking in the area is restricted, we were able to find parking relatively close to the apartment each night.

Nice quiet location overlooking the harbour. Very good air conditioning and a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the view. Try an early morning swim in the harbour 200 metres from the flat!

Great location! Very good views. The amenities are good and well maintained. The host was very thorough and explained everything in advance.

There was some misunderstanding with the address. The address, shown in the ad does not match the actual location (or it could be some administrative mistake). The taxi left us quite far on our way in and we had to sent the exact location to the driver on our way out in order to make sure we don't have to drag our bags around the streets of Birgu.

The view is fantastic. Enough parking lots nearby. The host provided useful information in the brochure.

The entire place was incredibly dirty. I booked here after reading the other comments that mentioned that it is clean. It was not. The floor was not cleaned in a long while, we even used the broom to try and colect some of the dirt. We ended up collecting a full dustpan of dirt and it was still dirty. The blanket on the couch in the livingroom was also visibly dirty and full of hair. The hairdryer was old and not cleaned since long ago. The kitchen furniture smells bad when you open it (like rancid oil). There was no dishsoap also, they provided liquid handsoap in the kitchen. The worst part is that there were some insects and the child got bitten during sleep on the face and hands. The host should consider changing the cleaning services. The view alone cannot compensate and the appartment has great potential.
