Greenacres Cottage Middleton by Wirksworth

As other guests have said Rob and Ann were perfect hosts and had immactually prepared the cottage ready for our arrival. They had thought of EVERYTHING we might need and gave lots of useful advice about the local area and facilities. The cottage is about 50m from a path that takes you onto a low bridge and the High Peak long distance footpath which we used a number of times during our stay. We left with Happy memories and sore feet! Matlock Bath and other local attractions are a few miles away by car.

Nothing. A perfect place to relax and unwind, Also it is very quiet at night!

Let's talk about cake 🎂 Ann had left an enormous fresh cream Victoria sponge in the fridge for us. Delicious 😋 Good location, well equipped comfortable. Quiet, a little bit of traffic noise but not so as to disturb. A pub 2 mins walk away. The village of wirksworth is about 15min walk or 5 min in the car.

Very nice cottage with plenty of room for 3-5 people. Great location in the heart of the Peak District, so you can reach lots of things to do within 15-30 minutes. The garden is huge and offers lots of interest for children!

The property is beautiful, the home is perfectly accommodating and comfortable, settled in quickly as it felt like home. Hosts are so friendly and welcoming, everything you need is available without even asking and it’s very obvious they care about the little details which is lovely to see. Thankyou so much for a lovely weekend I hope to visit again.

There was nothing I didn’t like, it felt like home, accommodated to everything you could need, perfectly clean and comfortable and the hosts were amazingly welcoming.
