The owners of the place are very friendly. Tamuna treated me with some Georgian dishes and her father drank cognac with me. I felt welcome there. The room is small but cozy, the bed is comfy and the bed linen is cotton, not synthetic. Very comfortable for sleeping. The kitchen facilities had to be shared with the family (there is no separate kitchen for the guests) but it was ok. The location is maybe 15 minutes away from the center. The wifi is good.

The window of the single room that I stayed in faces the common area with a couch where people often sit, chat, smoke and drink. You have to cover the window with a curtain so no one sees you, and sometimes I had to ask people to leave when they were too loud at night. A lot of svanetian guesthouses I stayed in have this design where the window faces the common terrace, so it’s not specific to this guesthouse. Anyway, sometimes I wished there was a little more privacy.

A bit far from the town, but manageable nonetheless. Still better than most guesthouses at this price.

Отличный гостевой дом: везде чисто, опрятно. Постельное белье и ремонт новые, хороший вайфай, горячая вода, балкон с видом на горы из каждого номера, уютная терраса и свой сад. Приятные и услужливые хозяева: предлагают чай/кофе, угощают домашними пирогами и помогают по другим вопросам - обменять валюту или забронировать место в автобусе.

Полтора км от центра города, но я сюда приехал на хайкинг по горам и лишние километры для меня в удовольствие
