Welcome to the Baltic Sea resort of Baabe and to our apartment in Villa Mara. This modern apartment building is located in a central yet quiet part of town, just about 300 meters from the wide, fine-sand Baltic Sea beach. Restaurants, cafés, bakeries, shopping, and public transportation stops are all within easy walking distance.
Baabe and the surrounding area offer a wide range of options for beachgoers, independent travelers, families, nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet, and active vacationers. Well-maintained biking and hiking trails across the Mönchgut Peninsula and into the forests surrounding the Granitz hunting lodge begin right nearby. The Kurpavillon, where regular events are held, the spa administration office, and playgrounds are all located nearby. About 300 meters away, at the Baabe train station, you can board the “Rasender Roland,” Rügen’s famous narrow-gauge railway, and explore the Mönchgut Peninsula this way. Seasonal excursion boats and ferries depart from the Baabe Bollwerk. Baabe is connected to Sellin and Göhren by a continuous beach promenade. In the evening, you can take a leisurely stroll along Baabe’s Strandallee, attend the many events, or simply wind down the evening in the garden or on the apartment’s balcony. And if the weather isn’t cooperating, the Ahoi leisure pool in neighboring Sellin invites you to take a dip or relax in the sauna.



Villa Mara Apt. 06 with balcony:

Welcome to our lovingly furnished 2-room apartment (No. 06) with a covered balcony on the first floor of the modern Villa Mara apartment building in the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Baabe! With approximately 52 square meters of space, this light-filled, non-smoking apartment offers a pleasant atmosphere and is perfect for up to 2–3 people. The living area is furnished with a sleeper sofa (which can accommodate a third person; 1.56 m x 2.00 m), a coffee table, an armchair, a reading lamp, a sideboard with a Smart TV, and an Internet/DAB stereo system. With a small selection of board games and engaging books, you can also spend relaxing hours here. The area is rounded out by a dining area by the window. The adjacent open-concept kitchenette features a small dining table, a ceramic cooktop, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, an immersion blender, a combined filter coffee/Senseo pod machine with a thermos, a kettle, and a toaster. All the necessary kitchen utensils are also provided, so you can comfortably cook your own meals here. The sunny, furnished south-facing balcony is accessible from both the living area and the bedroom and is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or wind down after a cozy evening while taking full advantage of the fresh Baltic Sea air. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m), adjustable slatted frames, bedside tables with lighting, a clothes rack, a spacious closet, and a smart TV. The spacious en suite bathroom is comfortably equipped with underfloor heating, a toilet, a hair dryer, a makeup mirror, and a walk-in shower. Pets are not allowed in the apartment. In the storage room, which is also located inside the apartment, you’ll find cleaning supplies, an ironing board, an iron, and a travel crib for our younger guests. The spacious outdoor area, with mature trees and a barbecue area, invites you to relax and enjoy the fresh Baltic Sea air. There is also a sheltered storage area for the bicycles you bring with you. A parking space (No. 06) is located directly behind the house. You can book an initial linen package (complete set of bed linens, 1 shower towel, 1 small towel) for an additional fee up to 14 days before arrival, or supplement it with your own linens. If you book two or more packages, you’ll receive one dish towel and one shower mat as a one-time bonus.
