The Space:
Casa Sol is a bright, 3-story retreat designed for laid-back living, stylish comfort, and soaking up the best of Austin—whether you're poolside, rooftop, or somewhere in between.
On the main floor, you’ll find a wide-open living, dining, and kitchen area filled with natural light. Large glass doors lead out to the backyard, where a heated pool, hot tub, grill, and plenty of lounge space set the tone for long, easy days outdoors.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, including a spacious primary suite with a wraparound balcony and large ensuite. Every bedroom on this level opens to outdoor space—either a private balcony or the oversized terrace that wraps along the back of the home.
Upstairs, the third-floor loft functions as a flexible fourth bedroom, with a queen bed and a futon that can sleep two more. It opens to the rooftop terrace, where a cozy fire pit and skyline views create the perfect spot for evening hangouts. Just off the loft is a private balcony with a hammock — a quiet place to read, nap, or enjoy a solo coffee in the breeze.
Throughout the home, you’ll find high ceilings, warm finishes, and thoughtful touches that make it easy to relax, gather, and enjoy your time together—whether you’re here for a weekend or a while.

Please keep noise at a reasonable level throughout the day, and remember that after 10 PM no sound should carry beyond the property line in line with City of Austin regulations.

This is the first time that I've arrived at a VRBO and found the property actually bigger than it looked in the photos! This is a spacious 4-bedroom property, and it was right in the middle of everything we like to do in Austin. There is a fantastic run from the front door, past Barton Springs to the Barton Creek/Town Lake running trail (almost exactly 4 miles from the house to the far side of the Lamar pedestrian bridge, out and back). Thoroughbread is a great little bakery just around the block with great sourdough and blueberry scones. Terry Black's barbecue, Matt's El Rancho, the original Chuy's, the Green Mesquite, Loro fusion, Amy's ice cream,and Sandy's Burgers (an oldie but goodie), "the back entrance" to Barton Springs pool, and even the Broken Spoke were all within 5 minutes by car, and wouldn't have been a hard walk for a reasonably fit person, though probably a pretty sweaty walk. For our family, this area of the city is Austin's beating heart! The next ring outwards (10-12 mins by Waymo/Uber) includes the classic shopping/food of SoCo , Whit Hank antiques, Waterloo Records, the iconic Congress Ave "bat bridge", and the evening "Blues on the Green" free concerts at Zilker Park.In short, this location is *perfect*, the accommodation was very comfortable, with balconies or connected outdoor spaces for every bedroom. The neighborhood was quiet, the pool was small but surprisingly big enough for our crew, and very refreshing after a long hot day out. Five Stars!

The house was beautiful and the rooms were all nice. The pool was lovely and the owner was very responsive to anything we messaged him. Overall, a very nice stay!

Great house and a great location. Convenient to downtown as well as local restaurants and attractions. The pool and yard area are a perfect hangout. The roof deck is a great spot for city views.
