About this house rental
This sunlight-filled architectural gem offers the best of Austin, with a heated pool oasis, amazing rooftop skyline views, floor-to-ceiling windows, luxury amenities, a chef’s dream kitchen, a posh master spa experience, and walk/bike distance to downtown, festival grounds and hip South Austin attractions. Great for groups, bachelor/bachelorette/wedding parties, family groups or just multiple couples looking to stay together. Located in the sought-after Bouldin neighborhood!
The space
Designed by Austin’s top modern architect, the first floor features an open concept kitchen, living & dining room, with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open directly to the private heated pool oasis. The gourmet chef’s kitchen includes custom walnut cabinetry with integrated refrigerator, wine fridge, top-of-the line Thermador appliances, coffee bar, and enough cooking gadgets and serving ware to host any size or type of dinner party. Off the dining area, which features a 14-foot marble waterfall island (seats 6), custom dining table (seats 10) and Venetian plaster walls, lies a quaint shaded backyard with lounge seating and fire table. A reading nook, stocked with dozens of board games and Austin travel books and half bath finish out the first floor.
Up the stunning hanging steel staircase lined with local art, sits the master suite, a guest bedroom with Queen bed and private bath, and a fully stocked laundry room. The oversized master suite boasts a King bed, office work area, and a master spa suite named Top 10 Bathrooms of 2021 by Houzz, featuring a two-person “under the stars” soaking tub that sits under a two-story vaulted skylight for romantic night-time baths.
The third floor features a huge third guest bedroom with Queen bed and twin bunk beds built into the gable of the modern farmhouse roofline, a fourth bathroom, and a music area with a piano keyboard. Additionally, a bright loft with double bed sits under a skylight to view stars at night and surrounded by windows giving 180-degree views over the tree-lined neighborhood. Off the loft, find our rooftop deck with incredible downtown skyline views (with unobstructed views of Austin City Fourth of July and New Year’s fireworks!)
Location
Located in the sought-after Bouldin neighborhood, you can walk or bike to all of the popular amenities in South Austin including festival grounds for all major events (ACL, SXSW). Bouldin is a gorgeous neighborhood filled with original Austin charm, world-class Modern homes, and a free-roaming flock of peacocks. The house itself is located half a block from an Austin city library and Ricky Guerrero Park, which includes a splash pad and large playground.
Additional amenities
- In cooler months, the pool can be heated for a $100 fee to pool or hot tub temperature with 24 hours minimum notice.
- Music can be played across the entire house via a Sonos system.
- The house can fit two vehicles in the driveway parking, and plenty of additional street parking.

Loved the pool in front entrance, paid for heated but it was Only Luke warm don’t believe heater was ever turned on. As I have a heater on my pool and I looked and it was never running? The water pressure is terrible in showers and master tub only could fill 6 inches then hot water ran out- never really got hot water anywhere? They need better tanks, the sink in master looked like it was starting to pull away from wall from all the water pooling. Could not figure out lights in kitchen above cook top area - And microwave is quit confusing too. There were a few stairs we clipped our heels on coming down but learned to step wider on those areas. Over all I would return if the hot water and pressure was working. My bathtub is my sanctuary. Great time otherwise loved the laid out- just wish master bedroom had a closet or hooks on wall to hand items as shower is to large in master bath and it would be awesome if they made that smaller and added a closet there or had more shower heads in master shower they need to add a hand held shower head to rinse off.l Would return if shower pressure and heater for all baths was improved.
