MOUNTAIN VIEWS & UNFORGETTABLE GETAWAYS! Escape to this bright and spacious mountain retreat featuring breathtaking year-round views, vaulted ceilings, granite countertops, and a cozy wood-burning stove. Large windows bring the beauty of the outdoors inside, while the wraparound deck provides the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. Conveniently located near Helen and Hiawassee, this peaceful retreat is ideal for hiking, exploring, and creating lasting mountain memories.

Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (45-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 10-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 25-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.
You have access to the entire house. Gated community. Roads are very well maintained paved & gravel roads all the way to the house.
The main floor has 2 bedrooms, one queen room and two queen beds in another room with a shared bathroom. There is kitchen-level entry for easy access, along with a laundry area.
Upstairs is a lovely open loft with a queen bed and two twin beds.
The fully finished lower level includes a large family/game room, plus three bedrooms with two queens, a twin and crib.
NEAREST COMMERCIAL AIRPORT: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (~approximately 110 miles away)
McGhee Tyson Airport (109 miles), Asheville Regional Airport (113 miles), Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (130 miles)
There are two "local" airports 1 in Andrews NC and the other in Blairsville GA.
