About this cabin rental
Welcome to Lake Blue Ridge!
The perfect combination of mountain and lake front experience awaits you in this beautiful setting in Morganton, Georgia. The lake has 100 miles of shoreline, with 80% of it being U.S. Forest Service land. Relax in a beautifully maintained log home with five bedrooms and three full bathrooms, located on the YEAR ROUND DEEP WATER of Lake Blue Ridge. Unwind as you gaze out the picture windows at the pristine blue waters and U.S. forest on the opposite shore, picture-perfect every season of the year! With accommodations for up to 15 guests, this is a choice destination for small or large groups of family and friends. A large two story dock with swim platform provides ample space for spending the day on the water. Bring the boat and tie up on the dock during your stay. Check out local boat ramps or rent one at the local marina. The cabin has ample parking, easily accommodating up to six (6) vehicles with two (2) under carport. There are three (3) levels in the cabin, each with a bathroom. The main level includes the kitchen, dining room, living room with wood burning fireplace, and two (2) bedrooms with queen beds. The upper level has a master bedroom with king bed and en suite, as well as a loft area with pullout sofa (full size bed). The lower level has a huge family room and two (2) bedrooms, one with queen bed and twin trundle, the other with a twin bunk beds and twin trundle. The sofa bed in the family room has a queen mattress. Wake up feeling refreshed and renewed on our new mattresses in each room. This home is Internet ready with Wifi available to guests.
Walk out either the main or lower level to decking, then meander to the outside fireplace which is perfect for S'mores or snuggling up with a loved one.
Bring your family dog along for the adventure! Up to two (2) dogs allowed with additional $113 non-refundable pet deposit.
Please Note:
- This isn't a party cabin. We have strict policies implemented in our rental agreement about quiet time, and things not to do to disturb or offend neighbors, residence.
- Rental agreement will need to be reviewed and signed within 24 hours of booking.
- Nightly rates are for up to six (6) guest; additional guest are $25.00 per night, per guest.
- Outside cameras are on the property for security reasons and if needed to enforce agreed upon rental agreement items.
Additional amenities provided include:
Outside gas grill (propane provided)
Firewood (September 1st - April 30th)
Two (2) Kayaks with paddles
Kitchen stocked with plates/glasses/utensils/pots & pans/can opener/cooking utensils
Bed sheets/blankets/bath towels
Hairdryer
Washer/Dryer on lower level of cabin
Board games and books

Food and beverages
Swim towels (swimsuit!)

Absolutely gorgeous and lived up to all pictures and descriptions.Spotless - never seen such a well maintained grill, which may seem trivial but can be a good indicator of the owner and cleaning service.

The main things that we were not happy about: 1.) Was not clean, floor was dirty, counters and table top was dirty, someone’s Qtips and soap wrapper was in the up stairs bathroom, there were spider webs everywhere. Tons outside, several inside. 2.) Dryer did not work. Very disappointing. Luckily we were only there for 3 full days. 3.) The TV downstairs did not work. We even bought batteries for the remote thinking that may be the problem but nope. And it was college football opening weekend. 4.) The paper towels that were there when we got there were almost gone. Seems petty but every place we have ever stayed had a full roll of paper towels when we arrived. 5.) No outdoor furniture was out on any of the outdoor decks/entertaining areas. In my opinion it should be out, we should not have to get it out. 6.) Decor (furniture, appliances, Knick knacks all was very out dated. The petty things probably would have been overlooked if not for the pretty major things.
Things we were happy about: 1.) the location. 2.) the cabin was beautiful built. 3.) the location 4.) the number of rooms. 5.) the location.
