About this space
Come stay in this hand built loft style cabin in historical area, where the confederate soldiers marched right here on this land. 10 miles from Pickwick Lake or 10 miles from the Battlefield of Shiloh, 8 miles to the Papermill. Plenty of parking space for fishing boat or trailers. Very private and safe area. Come sit on the back porch and drink your morning coffee and enjoy the beautiful scenery, lush trees and grass. Very peaceful getaway.
The space
Upstairs loft has 2 double beds, ceiling fan, and extra floor fan. Large living room with vaulted ceiling, leather sofa, several chairs, an older TV with VCR to bring back the 80's, and beautiful back porch with seating, Internet Wi-Fi. Kitchen has coffeemaker, stove, oven, full size refrigerator. Nice bathroom with on-demand hot water heater and stand up shower.
Guest access
Guest will receive a code to enter the cabin. Whole house and yard is for use. The entrance to the driveway is marked with reflectors at the road, please stay parked in the driveway. Enjoy

The caretaker ( Alton) lives across the street. if you have any problems or need anything

Loved staying in the cabin. Very welcoming and comfortable. The stairs to the loft were a little steep but had no problems going up and down as long as I took my time. Will defintely stay again when I come back.

Great place to relax. Very clean and the inside atmosphere perfect! Definitely worth trip if you want to be off grid and enjoy each other’s company!

Property and cabin was clean and tidy. Very clean and organized. The kitchen had everyting we needed to prepare and enjoy our meals. I met the property manager and his wife and they were very down to earth and hospitable. I would definitely stay again.
