This breathtaking historical apartment is truly one of a kind. It is truly an iconic piece of architecture and feels almost like a musuem. It was one of the original homes in this region, and has some amazing architectural details that give the home an amazing story. You would never guess that this French style farmhouse with a full wrap around porch is situated right across the street from the light rail in Jersey City. It is truly breathtaking and one of a kind!
After stepping onto the expansive wrap around deck with multiple seating areas, and pass through the original 1890 arched wooden door of the apartment, you will be greeted by a large grand space featuring beautiful high ceilings, extravagant wood moulding, arched doors and openings, restored ceiling medallions, vintage furniture and elegant decor. The floor to ceiling windows overlooking the NYC skyline adds to the magic that this farmhouse apt offers.
The main living space features a spacious living room with multiple cozy seating areas incuding a fold down futon, an overly comfortable chaise lounge sofa perfect for reading or lounging, and a vintage seating area perfectly situated next to the front window for a memorable cup of joe or conversation.
