The apartment is extremely spacious — much larger than the photos suggest. All the beds were very comfortable, and the air‑conditioning was a lifesaver in the summer heat. Just be mindful not to run too many appliances at once, as it can trip the electricity(the main electrical hub is outside the apartment). The shower was powerful and the bath tube was sufficient but the shower over the bath tub doesn’t work. The supermarket is only a five‑minute walk away, and if you don’t mind walking, it’s under 18 minutes to the old quarters and the train station. The neighbourhood is very quiet overall, though there is a dog next door that barks in the evening, and on our last night there was loud music outside until around 2am, but please note we had stayed here for over a week, so this was the only night we heard loud music.

We’ve stayed in many apartments, but this was the first where we had to buy our own washing‑up sponge, kitchen towels, washing‑up liquid and cooking oil. There were no basic condiments provided, though thankfully we only had breakfast here so it was manageable. We also needed to purchase extra shower gel. I suppose this is the difference when a place is managed directly by the owner rather than a third party. Communication with the agency was hit and miss. Responses were very slow, and sometimes there was no reply at all — for example, when I asked about the recycling, they never responded.
