Wyndham Kingsgate 1BR Apartment with Resort Access

Family friendly, all of the great activities, gated resort, friendly staff, great food and drinks at the poolside bar/restaurant.

Handicap room felt small for 4, we didn’t request but because our room wasn’t ready by 5 I think they gave us what was available. Neighbors children extremely noisy, banging into wall etc. walls very thin. Handicap bathroom no shelves or places to put make up bags toothbrushes etc. Did not like pressure to attend vacation owner presentation.

I thought everything was wonderful from the apartment to the security to the pools weight room Jacuzzi the hospitality was fantastic. The food was even wonderful.

Aside from one big disappointment, our stay at Wyndham Kingsgate was very pleasant and comfortable. When we checked in, we were offered a ground floor apartment, since there were no elevators to our 3rd floor apartment. We appreciated the clerk’s looking out for us, seniors. After check in, Kareem (concierge) made some restaurant recommendations and helped know how to get around. He also invited us to attend a 90 minute sales presentation, that promised some very attractive incentives as gifts for attending. We enjoyed our interaction with him. The accommodations exceeded our expectations! Well kept and quiet. Very nice grounds and amenities. We found water on the kitchen floor and a staff person came very quickly to address our concerns. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We were very disappointed with our experience attending the “90 MINUTE PRESENTATION”! The 90 minutes turned out to be 2 and a half hours for us! You are required to pay a $60 “deposit” via credit card to participate and supposedly free to leave after 90 minutes. That was not our experience. When we emphasized that we had to leave (well past the 90 minutes) for a reserved prepaid tour, we were informed by the sales manager, Michael, that viewing a model there on the grounds was part of the agreement. His insistence made us fear that we would lose our $60 deposit if we didn’t comply. In the end, it was restored to our credit card account. However, when we returned, we were still delayed and missed the tour that we had already paid for. Trying to find our way around and parking options was very stressful, not to mention the money and opportunity lost in attending the tour we had looked forward to. I will return to update, if we are compensated for our negative experience.
