Lavish 2-Bedroom City Apartment with Pool, Sauna, Gym

The location was fantastic and the complex very secure. The view was great!

There was a constant chirping noise from the AC (we ended up having to turn it off at the mains for our stay). The key was located at a shop a block away, so not good for people with mobility issues.

There wasn't much privacy with the blinds open- it could be improved by having sheer curtains so you can see out and get lots of natural light- but others can't see in. Picking up and dropping the keys off a block away was annoying- it would be better if they could be available to collect in the building at reception. Some of the dishes hadn't been cleaned properly and there was a lot of dust in the windows. The water in the shower spills out onto the floor with the door shut. Better instructions were needed to operate the washing machine and dryer, with the power switches near the bathroom.

Constant, irritating ringing noise/alarm (from/near air conditioner). Impossible to ignore. Difficult to contact Management/Booking.com. Response (not prompt) received from Management advised that issue would be rectified asap; next day (after receiving jarring auto message stating that Management aims for a 5 star review), made contact again with Management and was advised that no-one was available to fix the problem until after the (long) weekend ie after check out. "Lavish" is an over-statement. Eg towels were small and austere; Only three coat hangers provided; no milk provided; no bedside lamps; A/C in only one bedroom; shower takes at least 5 mins in morning to warm up; not possible to turn bedroom lights on/off independently of switch at entrance (ie necessary to walk in dark from entrance to bedroom at bedtime); only power switch in bedroom on opposite wall to bed. Non-user friendly, arduous process to pre-check in (eg necessary to upload selfie and identity documents). $400 deposit required as surety against damage - promptly deducted from account and still not refunded. (No damage incurred.) Requested early check-in, via Booking.com - no answer received.
