Grand Terrace 5 by Vallettastay

Wonderful place to stay! Top of the list has to be the view—it is absolutely outstanding. We were treated to both a ‘standard’ window and a traditional Maltese balcony, and nothing could beat enjoying our morning coffee with such a breathtaking vista. And for Game of Throne fans the view also included Fort Manoel, which we discovered was a backdrop in the first series. The location is unbeatable. sitting just on the edge of Valletta’s historic centre, it is just a 5-minute walk (admittedly uphill!) to St John’s Co-Cathedral, 10 minutes from a luring selection of bars, cafés, and restaurants, and a convenient 15-minute stroll to the main bus station. We chose this apartment based on glowing reviews about its location, and it truly went beyond our expectations. Our room was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, including all the essentials listed on their booking page, such as a hairdryer, iron, and coffee machine etc. While the bathroom was a little on the small side, the shower itself was brilliant. The Décor was great, of course, it is not a modern building but had been renovated in character – Charming Maltese style. The staff were really helpful, especially the wonderful housekeeping team who looked after the rooms so well. We stayed on the second floor and, while there is no lift, the daily exercise did us good. For a room this lovely, with a view and location this amazing, I would gladly climb those stairs ten times a day with suitcases! 😊

If there was anything we didn't like it was probably part of the Maltese experience so I can't really think of anything negative, In other words the view, location and staff and, of course Malta itself, outweighed everything.

Room is a good size and the views are lovely. A great location that’s close to everything in Valletta.

The check in experience and customer service needs improving. The code did not work and I was locked outside past 10pm with no assistance from an error on their end. Luckily, another guest had opened the door but if they had not, I would have been without a room for the night. This was very distressing and tainted the overall experience for me unfortunately and there seemed to be minimal remorse from the host

Clean room, great location, beautiful view. There is nothing else to say, everything was great. I would recommend
