Grand Terrace 3 by Vallettastay

Alloggio monolocale nella zona storica de La Valletta. Dotato di tutto ciò che serve e con servizi interni efficienti. Discretamente spazioso. Abbiamo trovato sul tavolo di ingresso una bottiglia di prosecco e dolcetti locali molto graditi e di cui abbiamo approfittato. Presente impianto efficiente di aria condizionata. Una sera è passato anche un ragazzo del personale per proporre il cambio asciugamani. Tanti locali nelle vicinanze per mangiare qualsiasi cosa.

Abbiamo alloggiato al secondo piano, il cui accesso è esclusivamente con scala stretta e ripida, che crea difficoltà per il trasporto di valigie e per chi ha qualche difficoltà fisica. Per i servizi di trasporto urbano bisogna fare molta strada a piedi nel centro storico perché lontani. Purtroppo non abbiamo avuto il piacere di conoscere lo staff, con cui abbiamo avuto solo comunicazioni via whatsapp, neanche al check-out. Altra cosa da segnalare è la presenza dell'unica finestra che si affaccia in uno spazio interno dello stabile poco luminoso e senza possibilità di ricambio d'aria. Non è un problema per chi sta fuori tutta la giornata.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war super. Es war alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft war gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers ist modern, das Badezimmer ist in einem guten Zustand. Bereitgestellt war eine Flasche Sekt und etwas Gebäck , außerdem einen kleinen Vorrat an Kaffeekapsel und Tee und eine Flasche Wasser. Wir hatten nur ein Fenster zum Hinterhof, konnten aber im Eingangsbereich Klapptisch und Stühle ausborgen um uns auf die Terrasse zu setzen.

Schwierigkeiten hatten wir den Code im Eingangsbereich einzugeben. Das Display ist schwarz mit blauen Zahlen. Sobald die Sonne blendet kann man die Zahlen nicht erkennen um den Code einzugeben. Wir hatten bei der Ankunft deswegen Schwierigkeiten gehabt rein zu kommen. Es ist zu beachten das Falscheingaben zu einer Wartezeit von je 10 Sekunden führen. Die Treppenstufen im Eingangsbereich sind recht schmal und hoch.( Baustile ist älter ) Deswegen war das hochtragen des Gepäcks etwas schwierig.

*Communication was clear and timely (we were sent the code for the electronic keypad in advance) *Great location in Valletta (big PLUS point) *Clean and new(ish) facilities *Big enough for two people *Very quiet and undisturbed *Satisfactorily equipped kitchen *We were able to use the garden table and chairs outside the front of the property with great views across the harbour *We liked the small welcome touches, eg: bottle of fizz and some local cake *We liked that we could leave our luggage at the hotel run by the VBL Group (and the staff were very friendly and accommodating)

*It's a pity that for the price we had no window with a view! There is a window but it looks out into a void between different rooms. *Like many apartments we have stayed in - and this is no exception - the kitchen lacked in some essential utensils, eg : chopping board, fish slice, spatula, jug. *Bed was very firm (subjective I know, but we prefer a softer mattress)
