Welcome to Knight’s Rest at Valletta City Suites, a charming private guest room combining historic character with modern comfort in the heart of Valletta. Forming part of a beautifully restored 400-year-old building, the room retains the unique character of the property while providing a comfortable and relaxing base from which to explore the city.
Tucked away in a quiet pedestrian alley, Knight’s Rest is just a short walk from Valletta’s cafés, restaurants, shops, museums and many of the capital’s most iconic attractions, including the Upper Barrakka Gardens, St John’s Co-Cathedral and the Grand Harbour.
Knight’s Rest is a private, fully enclosed bedroom featuring:
A comfortable double bed
A private en-suite shower room with modern fittings
A private internal yard, providing guests with their own small outdoor space
A refrigerator and tea and coffee-making facilities
Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi
The room overlooks its own private internal yard rather than the street. This sheltered position makes Knight’s Rest particularly quiet and peaceful, offering a welcome sense of tranquillity that can be difficult to find in the heart of Valletta.
Please note that Knight’s Rest is a private guest room rather than a self-catering apartment and does not include a kitchen or separate living area.
The room is professionally cleaned and prepared before arrival. Daily housekeeping and daily changes of towels or bed linen are not included as part of the stay. Should you require additional cleaning, fresh towels or a change of bed linen during your stay, these can be arranged for a small additional fee, with at least 24 hours’ notice and subject to availability.
Guests also have access to the shared rooftop terrace of Valletta City Suites. Furnished with sunbeds, tables and chairs, the terrace provides a relaxing outdoor space from which to enjoy rooftop views across Valletta’s historic cityscape.
The room is equipped with modern, energy-efficient air conditioning for both cooling and heating. A small contribution is payable for air-conditioning use at a very economical rate, with the aim of encouraging sensible energy consumption while keeping guests comfortable throughout their stay.
Guests can communicate directly with the property owners throughout their stay, and full contact and arrival information is provided following confirmation of the booking.

There is so much to love about this place!
Cleanliness - it is spotless. It was recently renovated and it shows. I saw so many reviews mentioning that many places in Malta are mouldy, dirty and smell. This place had no issues.
Quiet - the apartment is located on a very quiet street, there is no noise from the street or from other apartments
Great host - I had one minor issue with a small light that was very bright at night and the host went out of her way to get a maintenance guy to cover it up for me after his working hours. The host really goes above and beyond. All communication was fast and helpful.
Design - the apartment is beautifully designed. It was a pleasure to wake up there every morning.
Safety - as a single woman who stayed there alone for a week, I could not be happier. There were 3 secure doors to get through to my apartment plus security cameras which gave me an extra layer of safety.
Price - this was an incredibly deal for the location in the center of Valletta, the quality of the apartment and the free breakfast vouchers for the duration of the stay!
