Valletta Heritage Town House

Fabulous location within 2 minutes walk from coast and 4 minutes from shops/restaurants. Very clear instructions regarding waste / recycling process. Generous host let us arrive early to drop bags off. Great linen and plenty of towels provided. All necessary appliances provided including washing machine and dishwasher. Walk-in shower.

Description of what defines a “traditional Maltese house” as the stairs went through each bedroom, making privacy an issue. Stairs were tricky for elderly parents due to incline and some small steps. Only 2 out of 9 bulbs in living room light worked.

The location is excellent. I highly recommend it. The apartment itself is average.

The beds are not comfortable. The flat needs proper cleaning. No shampoon and shower gel available.

Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ καλή.Το διαμέρισμα είναι 5΄ περπάτημα από τους κεντρικούς δρόμους με όλα τα μαγαζιά.Η επικοινωνία με τον ιδιοκτήτη είναι άμεση.

Δεν μου άρεσε καθόλου που λίγο πριν φτάσουμε στο διαμέρισμα ενημερωθήκαμε για μία ζημιά που είχε γίνει σε έναν σωλήνα στο διαμέρισμα.Κατα τα λεγόμενα του ιδιοκτήτη είχε γίνει το ίδιο πρωί και αποκαταστάθηκε.Επίσης τα στρώματα στα κρεβάτια είναι πολύ άβολα.Η γνώμη μου είναι πως πρέπει να αλλαχτούν άμεσα.Το διαμέρισμα έχει μία μυρωδιά υγρασίας που παρέμενε όσο και αν το αερίζαμε.

Complex requirements for separate rubbish disposal and only a single bin provided; was puzzling using the appliances - trial and error with hot water, washing machine and oven to work with, I mean it is all there, you just need to know that there is like a separate “main” switch to turn on before for the power “to flow” to that particular appliance. Just pressing the “start” button on the washing machine won’t do the job. Having hotel grade disposable/single use slippers would be great since the floor is cold and tiled and either one must bring their own or stay with their shoes on all the time. Unpleasant existing a shower. Gas stove - no matchbox or lighter to be found. If you’re not a smoker be prepared. Lastly and not necessarily a negative point, but bear in mind that It is a three story house and only a single sofa bed is on the ground floor, so might not be a good choice for a person with physical disability.
