The pool area is relaxing, the DJ is playing nice tunes.The pool restaurant lunch is quite good.The fitness area is spacious and fairly well equipped, not a huge range of machines through.
The views are amazing, the architecture and building materials are beautiful
Cleaning is abysmal, on several occasions the floor was dirtier *after* housekeeping had been in. Walk-in shower looks fab in photos but the floor and walls were slimy to the touch. There was a leak under the sink, splashing off a brown damp area on the floor and onto your legs. There are scary insects everywhere. If you have any form of ocd, you will spend your entire stay in a state of low-level anxiety
Pool sunbeds are comfortable - however they are mostly stained, the water is freezing, the hand rail as you descend the main steps is loose, there are brown rusty looking stains on the pool floor
Food in the buffet is not great, a few nice dishes but lots of gloopy over-seasoned meat and veg. Didn't try the evening restaurants as they either involved raw fish (hard pass) or a set menu of about 30 different foods guaranteed to confuse your digestion
It's a beautifully designed hotel but they really need to improve the maintenance and cleaning and offer some clean/keto food choices.
