Johnny was a wonderful host and met us at the ferry to drive us to the place since it was pouring rain when we arrived. He and his colleague explained how everything worked at the place and even made us a dinner reservation that night. They went way beyond what a normal host would do to ensure we felt comfortable and had a good experience.
It was just bad luck that there were two typhoons heading to the islands when we arrived, and it poured rain the entire time. Johnny said we might not be able to get out on the ferry the day we needed to leave so we cut our trip one day short. That was a bummer! The place had instant coffee and sugar but since it was far away from a coffee shop it would have been nice if there was some fresh coffee and milk in the fridge.

Breakfast was not provided or expected. The house is in a small fishing village with no shops nearby, there were a number of options for dinner. Our host picked us up from the ferry which was much appreciated!
We had a child with us and no car so the lack of a shop was not very convenient for us but fine for adults or if had a car and better planning than us. As we left we noticed what apperared to be a store but cannot confirm as was too early to be open. Easy access to bus and could walk to next village with cafes, hiring bikes would work but not with 14 month old.

La propiedad es amplia , cómoda , muy limpia , y nos permitió vivir una verdadera experiencia de una casa japonesa tradicional y Johnny fue un excelente anfitrión y nos dio todas las indicaciones necesarias para movernos por la isla
