Liked · The host was super friendly and hospitable, with great communication. The place has a lovely Okonomiyaki restaurant nearby, and was easy to access via the local bus / walk to local cafes/ restaurants. Would recommend!
Disliked · This place was great! Kitchen and bathroom are basic, but get the job done! We had no issues with the quality of this accommodation.

Johnny was a wonderful host and met us at the ferry to drive us to the place since it was pouring rain when we arrived. He and his colleague explained how everything worked at the place and even made us a dinner reservation that night. They went way beyond what a normal host would do to ensure we felt comfortable and had a good experience.
It was just bad luck that there were two typhoons heading to the islands when we arrived, and it poured rain the entire time. Johnny said we might not be able to get out on the ferry the day we needed to leave so we cut our trip one day short. That was a bummer! The place had instant coffee and sugar but since it was far away from a coffee shop it would have been nice if there was some fresh coffee and milk in the fridge.
