The location is superb - not only close to the centre, but around the corner a lively student bar. Good places to have breakfast as well. The Square outside San Croce had a nice market The host's communication was rapid , detailed and friendly. While i was slightly nervous arriving late at night - picking up the keys from the keysafe was absolutely fine. and what is there not to like about a place in Florence.

We were expecting the apartment to be small, and it is. So not a problem for us, but when booking you have to be aware it is a room that when the bed is down is filled mostly with the bed. So reading the other reviews, if you are looking for lots of space then this will not be good for you. If you are looking for a convenient place to visit the city - then this could be it! If I was looking for anything to improve - the chairs in the apartment were hard and not good for my back. But to be honest we spent most of the time outside exploring.

I liked the location. I would stay in that part of town again. The place was clean and the host was responsive and kind.

For me, the place is just too small. There’s no place to spread out and relax and in a busy city, I need that. The pictures are slightly deceptive for the actual experience. For the same amount, you can stay in a larger space in the same part of town. This space should be a much bigger bargain. When I reached out to see if I could cancel for a refund I was told to refer to the no refund policy.
