Ideal spot close to the airport however facilities not clean and very difficult to work out how to put the heating on

Not clean Property wasn’t ready when we arrived and when messaged the host stated the check in time was incorrect on booking.com but did not inform me of this when originally booked. Had someone knocking on the door late at night. Very cold - difficult to work out the heating. Boiler dripping

Freezing 🥶

There was an ok view out the living room window. But it is a block of flats in a busy area.

It was freezing when we got there and it took literally 4-5 hours to warm up, it was so cold we couldn't even sleep, we had to go to the local supermarket to buy hot water bottles.

Close stay to the airport

Everything! Looks nothing like the picture outside or in! Looks nothing like the photos, the bath was vile still had hairs from the last person there Empty shower gel bottles lying around the bath. We spent 45 minutes contacting the host just to try and get in! Don’t open the kitchen cupboards they are filthy too. Extensions cables just everywhere Would definitely not recommend

Badly appointed property which was unacceptable for many reasons.

The only good thing was the view across towards the Mersea the start of the Pennine Way and the central location to visit Strawberry Fields and Speke Hall

Area and entrance out front intimidating. Lots of things wrong with property IE badly finished decor with holes and scratches everywhere. Back of toilet bunged up with old tissues bad silicone finish in bathroom. Broken china light pull in bathroom which cut my daughter's finger. No light shades in 3 of the rooms. Had to put up our own curtains which wasn't done and found in cupboard. No hot water on arrival had to ask someone to come out. TV remote awful really hard to change channels. Standard lamp not working in front room. Bedside lamps in all bedrooms each side of bed which would've been nice but there were no sockets near enough to plug in which really is ridiculous! Last but not least and the most important. We couldn't open a lot of the windows as had 3 children with us under 7 and there were no safety catches on windows. There were some in hallway on 1st and 2nd floor as you came upstairs to building. Strong smell of smoke immediately outside flat door. Rubbish strewn in no orderly fashion where rubbish was and a warning if rats in area! Wardrobes were not attached to wall and tilted forward which could fall on someone
