This apartment is located in a beautiful old Lisbon building, which gives it plenty of character. The self check-in process was simple and straightforward. There are a few quite steep stairs leading up to the apartment, which might come as a surprise, but they were perfectly manageable for us. The apartment is spacious, and the location is good. We found a convenience store about a five-minute walk away, and the parking garage where we left our car for four days was around seven minutes away on foot. The apartment had everything we needed, and having a washing machine was a huge plus. Since we were backpacking around Portugal, being able to do laundry was very important to us.

There is no air conditioning, but there were two fairly powerful fans. It was warm in the mornings, while in the afternoon opening the balcony doors allowed a nice breeze to cool the apartment down. This isn't the most modern or luxurious apartment, but it has a cozy, authentic vibe, and we also liked the neighborhood very much. Considering the price, we think it offers very good value and would recommend it.

The neighbourhood is a bit noisy ,even at night.
