Welcome to Casa Tranquilo, a beautifully designed single-story villa tucked within the lush, gated community of Hacienda Pinilla. Surrounded by tropical greenery, fruit trees, and a majestic Guacimo tree with charming swings at the entrance, this home blends serenity, luxury, and space—perfect for families or groups seeking a private retreat in paradise.

This 345 m² home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests in four thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and garden views. Two elegant master suites include king beds, private bathrooms, dressing rooms, and views of the pool and greenery. The two additional queen suites also offer luxurious finishes, Italian showers, and a tranquil ambiance.

The open-concept layout brings the outside in with large sliding glass doors that frame the lush gardens and pool. The cozy living room is outfitted with a plush sofa, vibrant artwork, tropical plants, and a large flat-screen TV, while the fully equipped chef’s kitchen features a 5-burner stove, marble breakfast bar, filtered water, and top-quality appliances. A grand dining table for 10 overlooks the pool, offering a beautiful backdrop for meals and gatherings.

Casa Tranquilo was the perfect home for my family of six during our stay mid-February. The location within Hacienda Pinilla couldn’t have been better. It was conveniently located near the Beach Club, and we loved being just a short drive from some of the area’s best spots. Tamarindo was only about 20–25 minutes away, which made it easy to grab groceries, try different restaurants, and book activities. Playa Avellana was even closer—about 10–15 minutes—so we spent plenty of time enjoying the more laid back, restaurant/town vibes.The home itself was spotless when we arrived and very well maintained. It was also one of the best-stocked vacation homes we’ve stayed in. Toiletries, aloe vera, sunscreen, paper towels, toilet paper, games, and other essentials were all readily available and generously stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals at home; the only thing missing was a toaster.We also can’t say enough about the rental company, Five Star. In all of our travels, we’ve never experienced a more responsive and genuinely kind team. They went above and beyond to make sure our trip was seamless—from helping arrange a rental car to organizing and booking excursions and providing great recommendations throughout our stay. Krissia with Five Star was especially incredible and truly went the extra mile to make our stay memorable! We can't wait to go back!

This property is an Oasis of serenity! The floor plan is smart and perfect for couples or a large family. Each room offers privacy and comfort. The estate grounds offer security. Its a beautiful piece of property that is perfectly maintained minutes away from downtown with all the great restaurants and night life.
