This spacious and beautifully appointed home combines modern amenities with classic comfort, making it an ideal retreat for families, groups, or anyone looking to experience Philly in style. The highlight of this home is undoubtedly its open concept common areas - perfect for the group relaxing and being together - while also providing plenty of room for the group to spread out and have privacy. GREAT LOCATION! Located in the desirable downtown Philadelphia neighborhood of Fishtown, there’s no shortage of family AND fun. This neighborhood has emerged as Philly’s truest harbor of artistic, culinary, and musical action. This classic working-class neighborhood, so named due to its history as an epicenter for the commercial shad-fishing industry, offers a colorful exception to the city’s gridded urban rule with its collection of narrow streets beset with modest row homes and independently-owned businesses.
A short ride to all tourist attractions (Independence Hall/Liberty Bell), festivities, great restaurants, shopping, and whatever else you may need. If you'd prefer not to walk, the El, bus or a taxi/uber is literally just outside your front door. Fishtown is a trendy neighborhood with some of the newest (and best) restaurants and bars, with adequate free parking directly out the front door. This place is a real gem!

The house was lovely and clean. Very well kept and modern. Finding a parking spot was very difficult. A majority of the spots in nearby streets are 2-hour parking / permit parking only. There are a few spots on the street that the house is on that are free but they are often taken up by others. Also, there was water pipe construction on the street that made it impossible to pass. The first night I spent 30 to park at the recommended parking lot. The second night I got lucky and was able to park on the street and the third night I parked 3/4 of a mile away on a street that was free. These streets are VERY crowded and narrow. Two other things to note: while the listing says there is a queen size pull-out couch in the living room, when we got there, the couch was not a pull-out couch and could only fit one person to sleep on and did not include bedding. The photos below are of that couch. Finally, the coffee maker was missing its carafe. I found a carafe that I could use but it did not fit the coffee maker completely.

We had a great stay at this townhouse in FishTown. The house was clean, comfortable and in a great location to enjoy all that the area has to offer. It was also close to the thruway to make travel to different parts of the city convenient.
