To maintain the quiet, pristine nature of our cottage and the surrounding community, we personally review all booking requests. Minimum Stay: 4 nights (no exceptions). Quiet Hours: 11 PM - 8 AM Max Occupancy: Limited to 6 guests at all times.
Our 4-night minimum ensures you have ample time to truly unwind, unpack, and breathe easy. Spend your days alternating between the therapeutic Nakusp Hot Springs, relaxing on the beach, and enjoying the crisp, air-conditioned comfort of the cottage. It is the perfect length for a complete fresh-air reset."

Plenty of local family activities in nearby Burton & Nakusp, public sandy beaches, the play zone zipline and nearby eateries, craft distilleries or Hot Springs! - THE LAVENDER COTTAGE (Sleeps up to 4): A cozy two-level, 1-bedroom, 2-bathroom cottage. Features a spacious master bedroom, galley kitchen, dishwasher, and direct sightlines to the backyard lavender field. Includes a double fold-away futon in the living room and remains perfectly comfortable with thermal window coverings and ceiling fans.
- THE GAMES/SLEEP STUDIO (Sleeps 2): Available to rent for an additional $120 per night to bring your total capacity up to 6 guests.
- OPTIONAL RV SETUP: Guests may bring one self-contained RV (equipped with its own washroom) for an additional $120/day + $25/day power fee. Note: Sani-dump is 20 minutes away.

⚠️ STRICT PROPERTY RULES ("NEED TO KNOW")

To preserve the tranquility and natural health of our acreage, we enforce the following policies strictly. Failure to comply will result in immediate eviction without a refund:
- MAXIMUM CAPACITY: The strict, absolute limit for the entire estate is 8 guests total across the house, studio, and RV combined. Unapproved visitors or events are not permitted.
- PET POLICY: Maximum of 1 to 2 pre-approved, well-trained dogs permitted with host permission. A pet fee of $20 per day and a damage deposit apply. No free roaming on site permitted.
- WILDLIFE PROTECTION: Local wildlife (deer, wild hares, grouse, and the rare bear) stroll through our unfenced property. Dogs must be kept leashed while on the property, no free roaming and are strictly forbidden from chasing wildlife or digging in gardens.
- HOUSE RULES: Dogs are not permitted on beds or furniture. Please bring your pet beds. You must pick up and properly dispose of all pet waste. All dogs must be leashed, no free room while on property. We value our beautiful wildlife. Currently 2 Hawk Owls have made our property their summer home!
- VEHICLE PARKING: Boat or trailer, parking is available for $20 per night per rec vehicle. No ATVs permitted due to fire risk.
- ACCESSIBILITY: The property features uneven ground and stairs, meaning it is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs.
