About this cottage rental
Our property provides the athmosphere of a private secluded summer residence with beach. The cabin is in its private little orchard overlooking our lake front pasture and our private bay with beach. The location is has a beautiful deck where you can enjoy the sunset over the mountains.
The comfortable cottage has 920 sqft of very liveable space. It is popular with families and couples alike and fits nicely into its natural environment. It features the living area with sofa and sofa bed and a wood stove. A fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a bathroom with tub/shower, a bedroom with a hand crafted queen size bed and a second smaller bedroom with a twin bunk bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size stove and oven, side by side fridge, dishwasher and microwave and washer plus dryer.
Enjoy the beautiful views from your deck over the pasture, beach and bay. Take a few steps off the deck to a short path that leads you down through the pasture to the beach. Across the lake there is an island to explore and within a short hike also a waterfall. The property is a total of 100 acres and offers private trails. Watch the Ospreys and Bald Eagles fish in our bay. There is always lots of wildlife around. Have fun!
Dogs:
Well behaved dogs that stay on the ground (not on sofas, beds etc.) are very welcome and if they do not run after wildlife or farm animals can be kept without a leash. There is so much room to run around for dogs and with our rock bluff to the north and a meshed fence to the south it is quite safe. Our resident dog Schoko is very friendly.

Very beautiful property. It was so quiet and peaceful. The beach was lovely, although we didn’t go when it was warm enough to swim. I suspect it’s nice for swimming as well. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for tranquility. Definitely stock up on groceries before you go.

Beautiful property - small fenced yard with fruit trees and an incredible view of the lake. Kind and generous hosts. 45 minute drive to grocery store - which is fine, if you prepare properly. Would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay. The location is quiet and peaceful, with lots of beach activities to do. The hosts were very communicative and always responded quickly. Can’t wait to come back again.
