We had to get out of our house for a few days to allow for some work to be done. After a fairly exhaustive search we found this spot and it was excellent. The owner was a pleasure to work with, the location suited all our needs (golf, beach, restaurants, etc.) and it was dog friendly.Property was exceptionally clean and would rank in the top one percent of all the previous VRBOs I've experienced. The house was well stocked with what you would expect and the beds were very comfortable. Great place for pets and the neighborhood pool right on the block was a definite bonus compared to other options. I would highly recommend The Mermaid Cottage and would happily stay there the next time I am in the area.

Our family had a great time staying at the Mermaid Cottage. The house was clean (smelled great!), decorated, and updated. The quiet neighborhood was in the perfect spot to travel to all the different beaches. The host was approachable and easy to connect with. We loved our stay and would love to come back!

We loved the house. Everything was great. Most importantly one of the cleanest houses I've ever stayed at. Which is one of my top priorities. Will be booking again with them. Highly recommend!
