1st time at Nagoya. Decided to stay near the main station. Really happy with my decision. Fantastic hotel, great location, superb staff, fab breakfast - highly recommended place to stay in Nagoya.

Well-located to access the shinkansen, JR trains and kintetsu airport express / limited express. Easy to dine out within JR Gate Tower, the underground mall and the vicinity.
Improvement in facilities, such as the administration of the use of DIY washer/dryer machines (on level 20) can perhaps be made - instead of the stated grace period of one hour, guests can be encouraged to collect their washed/dried laundry as soon as possible (as per the practice in other big hotels).
When I was there, the wait could be as long as 6-7 users before me because many users did not collect their laundry as soon as the cleaning was completed. Each few minutes "exceeded" within the grace period snow-balled to a full bench of users waiting past midnight or indefinitely. That was not too pleasant for families with children.
I appreciate the help rendered by the front desk when they were informed about the above.

This well managed Hotel is directly above the Nagoya Station. Once exiting the Shinkansen gates proceed out towards Meieki-Dori Exit. Take the escalator up to 2nd Floor.
The Elevators are inside a bank of 8 cars. Guests going up to 15th floor to access The Nagoya Tower Hotel do not have their own elevators!! Guests share these elevators with hundreds of business people in the morning and hoards of teenagers also hundreds in friend groups 4-10 scurrying for a spot before the car doors close!!
Moreover elevators don’t all go up to 12th floor for Resturants, these are closed until 11:00 AM. Too many non -guests ride these elevators. Luggage is impossible and access is always challenging day and night.
Serious drawback for hotel guests especially after touring all day with fatigue and struggles to get back to the hotel’s 15th floor access. So very frustrating! (Honest Feedback)
