Heringsdorf, on the island of Usedom, is considered a gem in northeastern Germany. It is one of the best-known and oldest seaside resorts on the Baltic Sea coast. Even Emperor Wilhelm II stayed here. Numerous artists and celebrities of the 19th century also spent their vacations at the “Kaiserbad” (Imperial Spa). The historic and lovingly restored villas define the unique seaside resort architecture.

In 1882, businessman Emil Lindemann built the most elegant hotel in Heringsdorf. He named it the “Grand Hotel Seeschloß.” It was the first hotel in town to feature an elevator and bathrooms on each floor. In 2002, the property underwent a stylish and extensive renovation, and today, with its prime location, it remains one of the premier addresses in Heringsdorf. A 2–3-minute walk takes you to Europe’s longest pier, at 508 meters, as well as the 8-kilometer-long promenade connecting the three imperial spas of Bansin, Heringsdorf, and Ahlbeck.

This spacious 2-room apartment, measuring 79 square meters and located on the first floor, impresses in every way with its great location and comfortable amenities. The apartments’ furnishings, which reflect the original architecture, are elegant and sophisticated, making everyday life seem to melt away. High-quality modern furniture, combined with comfort, creates a sense of home and well-being. The stylish living area features a cozy seating area (with a pull-out bed for a third person). The tall windows let in plenty of light. The small bay window is a cozy spot for reading or daydreaming. From here, you have a front-row seat to watch the activity around the concert shell. A flat-screen TV and a stereo system—including an iPod docking station—provide entertainment. A small kitchenette with a dishwasher, oven/microwave, refrigerator, and half-size ceramic cooktop, as well as a dining area, are also open-conceptly integrated into the living area. The spacious bedroom features a double bed with separate mattresses (90x200, with a full-length topper) as well as closet space for your clothes and luggage. You can write your vacation postcards at the desk in the small bay window. In the modern, bright bathroom with natural light, you can relax in the corner bathtub. A shower, sink, and toilet round out the amenities. Two smaller balconies invite you to linger; on one balcony, you can enjoy the evening sun, and from the other, catch a glimpse of the sea. For your convenience, there is an elevator in the building and a bicycle storage room that you are welcome to use. The parking space is located in the parking garage, about a 5-minute walk away.
