Visited Julian to avoid fireworks on the 4th. Julian delivered. Peace and quiet at night and great small town parade in the daytime.
The property is a block from Main Street. Very cool historical building. Nicely renovated with AC, wifi, kitchen, etc. all working well. We brought our dogs and it was great to have a fenced yard for them.
We didn’t need to use the loft area so we closed up the access ladder but heads up if you need to use it that the loft would be a fun area for kids to sleep, play games, etc. (it has outlets and a TV) but a challenge to use for adults due to the low ceiling. The host is very transparent about that and the photos are totally accurate.
The host also prepared video instructions on how to access the property so check in was easy. Host was also easy to communicate with and helpful when we had questions.
100% would stay here again.

Delightful little place for stay in Julian. Everything you need for short stay. Word of caution that there are steps to get down to the apartment. Got here in dark and step were a surprise Not normally a problem but husband uses a cane so it was tricky. The property has two places with entrances on level ground. Just not something I thought to check since the unit is one level. Not property management problem. Problem in my research. Can easily walk to everything in Julian and leave car parked. Loved fenced backyard for our dog and to bring the outside inside.

Communication with host was excellent! This place is so cute and it is situated in the perfect spot! Walkable to everything in town and just minutes from great hiking. We had our dog and he loved sitting in the backyard watching the birds and hearing the rooster in the morning. I would definitely book again!

The cabin was very clean and well organized. Short walk into town, quite a hill on the way back. Wonderful, huge (to me) television.
