Julian Cafe Cottages With Breakfast At The Julian Cafe

A phenomenal stay! The kitchenette was fully loaded with more kitchenware than I could dream: pots and pans, tupperware galore, keurig and a milk frother! I couldn't find a colander, but the variety of utensils more than made up for it. The amenities were so incredibly thoughtful too! not only was there pods of coffee, tea, and cocoa for the keurig, but a pack of popcorn, seasoning, a brita and ice tray, q tips and cotton rounds, HAIR TIES, flashlights, and even a sleepy time aromatherapy spray! The vouchers to the Julian Cafe also worked for other meals aside for breakfast, which was great for a dinner out. Aside from everything inside the cabin, we had a beautiful view of the stars, though it was a bit tight with the trees. There were flashlights provided to help us situate our viewing experience, which was greatly appreciated too.

I am personally shy about asking for help, so please take what I say with a grain of salt. My partner and I couldn't find instructions for any of the technology provided, though we never reached out to Cara ourselves. We mostly just messed with all the buttons and switches with a hand full of googling tutorials. And while we didn't have neighbours in the family cabin next door, the closeness of our cabins did have me worried of noise levels. Along with that, the address was difficult to find being in a shared driveway with hard to see numbers (we had arrived in pouring rain).

The peacefulness

Lovely private cottage away from the tourist area. Good to have a kitchen and outdoor sitting area.

The lighting is far too bright with no dimmers. The bed is way too soft for me.

The beds were very comfortable. Loved the rain shower head and bathroom sink! Everything was very thoughtfully laid out!

Missing a hot water kettle for tea.
