This rental was honestly the best I’ve ever stayed in. It’s perfect for two people and the view is incredible. We saw more wildlife here than we did on any of our tours and it’s a very private residence. Communication with the host was very fast and easy and so was checking in. Overall I would give this place an 11/10, if I ever revisit La Fortuna I would 100% stay here again.

If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay with Macaws, Toucans and even fire flies spotted right off the back deck, not to mention the short hike to the river and mini cascading waterfall within minutes of the cabin, then this is the place for you. It is very close to all of the tourist attractions and excursions in the area. Emily was fantastic with providing check in details. We would definitely stay again.

The views of the rainforest from the patio are spectacular and serene. Scarlett macaws and toucans can be seen in the front yard at dawn and dusk. The room is clean and comfortable. The kitchen offers everything needed to cook basic meals. The smart tv has Netflix and a cozy evening in can be spent cuddling on the bed. Emily and her parents are very kind and helpful.A second hook in the bathroom for towels and some hooks by the entrance for raincoats would be a great addition.Thank you for having us and your help! It’s the perfect location; a beautiful oasis in the rainforest but still close to town!
