Refugio Turquesa-Luxury King Suite with Private Jacuzzi Balcony-5 min to La Fortuna

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. I think that says a lot! We live in Costa Rica and travel around the country often and this is one of our favorite properties. We love the location that is a few minutes away from the main city strip but overlooking the volcano and a beautiful creek. The building is very quiet, love the covered parking and the large balcony and hot tub. The shower is so refreshing with hot water and larger showerhead. It is equipped with kitchen equipment so you can prepare food easily. Maria, the onsite manager, is very sweet and helpful. We loved the addition of the curtains around the hot tub and balcony.

I wish the hot tub had a heating element so you could warm up the water to your preference and reuse the water you have in there from previous use. And defiitely don't build a unit infront of this on! The view and privacy is perfect.

Refugio Turquesa was exquisite. Beautiful room. Just far enough from town to be really quiet, but close to everything. And the birds! Maria welcomed us, gave us great information about the area, and checked in to make sure we had what we needed.
