About this house rental
Welcome to the Surf Shack at Wrightsville Beach! Nestled in the charming Lion’s Gate neighborhood, this cozy retreat offers access to a community pool, three brand-new pickleball courts, and two tennis courts. Perfect for a relaxing getaway with plenty of fun amenities!
- 5 minute stroll to shopping and restaurants at Lumina Station
- 2 miles to Wrightsville Beach for sun and surf
- 5 miles to UNCW
- Explore Downtown Wilmington or catch a flight at ILM Airport, both 8 miles away
You will have access to the entire home with the exception of the locked owners closet. We have 2 assigned parking spaces with extra visitor parking by the pool. The pool and tennis courts require the gate key. Replacement will cost $100 if lost/stolen/damaged. Pool is open seasonally. Gate key will allow you quick access from our neighborhood to Lumina Station.

We have two cruiser bikes guests are able to use
- Must be at least 25 to rent property. Driver’s license will be required at time of booking. You can submit your drivers license through the pre-arrival form which will be sent immediately after booking. Please note - your reservation will be canceled if primary guest booking is under the age of 25. You will also receive a link immediately after booking to sign your rental agreement as required by the NC Vacation Rental Act. Guidebook with door code will be sent the day prior to check-in. Door code will not work until both pre-arrival form and rental agreement are signed.
*For your protection and the protection of our property, there is a ring doorbell camera installed next to the front door that operates 24/7. Camera does not have a view of the inside and is the only security camera installed on the property.

We had an absolutely fabulous time staying and there’s a VRBO. It was decorated very nicely, had nice amenities, looked like it was recently renovated, and unit said there was lots of privacy, very easy access to the airport and to the beach. Definitely a place that I will be coming back to because of the convenience and the quality of the finishings. I’m accustomed to renting Inspirato homes and this was just as nice as my experiences with Inspirato. Very impressed with this VRBO.

My wife and I spent a week here with my daughter before moving her to UNCW. This property is fantastic. The location is perfect as it is close to so many different things (beach, restaurants, grocery, etc) with many being walkable. Additionally, the availability of the community amenities was a nice plus (pool, tennis/pickleball, etc.) The name says it all, luxury townhouse near Wrightsville beach. That is exactly the description I would give. I would highly recommend this property to anyone headed to this area!
