Nestled on the scenic grounds of the renowned Messina Hof winery, Hof Haus offers a charming escape that blends Old World elegance with Hill Country tranquility. This spacious vacation rental showcases German-inspired decor throughout, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for a romantic getaway or a serene retreat.
The Space:
The well-appointed bedroom features a luxurious king bed and opens directly onto a private patio—ideal for sipping morning coffee or a glass of wine under the Texas sky. Inside, you'll find thoughtful touches including a convenient wet bar equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, sink, and small refrigerator, making light snacks or drinks effortless.
The bathroom includes a walk-in shower with classic styling and modern comfort. Whether you're enjoying wine tastings just steps away or exploring the natural beauty of the Hill Country, Hof Haus is perfectly situated—just 9 miles from Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and 27 miles from the stunning Enchanted Rock State Natural Area.

Guest Access:
✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.
To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.
